🎃 PYO Pumpkins in Penkridge, Staffordshire
Massive pumpkins, mini pumpkins, perfectly formed pumpkins and white pumpkins – we’ve got them all!
The Pumpkin Patch, Lower Drayton Farm, Penkridge, Stafford, ST19 5RE
Every weekend from Saturday 2nd October
Daily from Monday 18th – 31st October
Get spooky season off to a great start with a visit to our pick your own pumpkin patch. We’ve planted over 80,000 pumpkin seeds of various varieties, over 12 acres, making us one of the largest pumpkin fields in the area. You can rest assured you’ll find your ‘perfect pumpkin’ match! Once you’ve picked your pumpkin you can head to our pumpkin carving tent and get creative (no mess to clean up at home!).
There will be hot food provided by our good friends at Pear Tree Farm catering offering hot dogs and homemade pumpkin soup, made from our pumpkins. Also soft drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
Why not make a day of it and visit PLAY too, there is lots to do indoors and out, plus friendly animals to meet. A separate ticket is required.
No dogs allowed

Please note PYO Pumpkins and PLAY (our Playbarn family attraction, mentioned in some reviews) require separate tickets
lovely halloween day out my boys loved picking the pumpkins and carving them after well worth the money x - Louise Hayward - 30 Oct 2020
The farm is family run. Farmer Ray interacts with the customers and he’s great. The new soft play is amazing and my 6 year old loves the big red slide she was continuously going on the slide. She also loved to stroke the rabbit and the chicks. The outdoor play area is great especially the zip wire and tree house. We had another fantastic day here. There’s so much to do. The pumpkin picking was a nice added extra for this visit too. Would highly recommended. Thank you. - Faye Maria - 26 Oct 2020
Enjoyable morning picking our own pumpkins & then decorating them . Children enjoyed their wheel barrows & finding the perfect one 😊 - Hazel Shinton - 17 Oct 2020
We visited the farm again today and again it was just so enjoyable. Usually there is just myself, daughter and grandson but, as it is half term, my grandson wanted his daddy and grandad to see all the fun things to do. Both were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
As you can see Jacob found the Golden Pumpkin, he wanted to bring it home!! Thank you keep up the good work we will be back soon - Maggie Butwell - 26 Oct 2020
The staff at Lower Drayton Farm are so friendly, especially the tractor driver, Sally and Richard at the potatoe patch 🙂
The play area is very, very clean and the food and drinks were fab:)
My children left saying that they'd had the best day 🙂
Would Defiantly recommend to anyone considering visiting here and we will be coming back to pick our own pumpkins at the end of October 🙂 - Karina Vandenbrink - 26 Sep 2020
We had such a great time pumpkin picking. It was fab to get out in the field and find our perfect one. So much fun, definitely not just for the kids! 😂🎃🎃🎃 - Claire Elizabeth - 17 Oct 2020
Really great farm. We did the pumpkin picking and had a great time. Unfortunately you're limited to one per person, as much as we wished you could purchase more on top. A large majority of the pumpkins were smashed but we found a few good ones later on. I'd say it's a bit pricey for the farm portion but a worth while experience for pumpkin picking - Jamie Checkland - 28 Oct 2020
We've just had a lovely morning! Great pumpkins, very friendly staff. We enjoyed it as much as the kids! Highly recommend! - Nikki Coleman - 23 Oct 2020

The very talented troupe from G Dance Academy descended on our PYO Pumpkin Patch recently to show off their best spooky moves…
They’ll be joining us on several surprise dates throughout the rest of October – maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones who catch them in action?
