Open Farm Sunday at Lower Drayton Farm 🚜🌾
We’re delighted to be taking part in Open Farm Sunday on Sunday 7 June — a nationwide celebration of British farming and the countryside.
We’ll be running a free Open Farm Sunday event here at Lower Drayton Farm, open to all ages and designed to give visitors a closer look at life on our working Staffordshire farm.
Spaces are strictly limited, so while there is no charge to attend, advance online booking is essential.
On the day
Visitors will be able to:
🚜 View a selection of Farmer Ray’s vintage tractors
🐮 See our Highland cattle in the field next door
🌾 Hop on a farm trailer ride to see areas of the farm no-one else has visited!
🥕 Learn from our friends at M&S how we supply carrots & parsnips as one of their Future Farms
🌼 Kids can take home free wildflower seeds kindly donated by M&S
☕ Purchase light refreshments during their visit
We’ll also be taking cash bucket collections on the day, with all proceeds going to the Yellow Wellies campaign run by the Farm Safety Foundation, helping to raise awareness of farm safety and support the next generation of farmers.

This free Open Farm Sunday event does not include entry to PLAY@ Lower Drayton Farm
PLAY@ will be open as normal on the day, but separate PLAY@ tickets must be booked and paid for if you would like to enjoy the full PLAY@ adventure before or after your Open Farm Sunday visit.
In line with our usual PLAY@ admission policy, PLAY@ entry is only available to groups including at least one child aged under 16.
