? See us at Staffordshire County Show!

We’re passionate about helping the public learn all farming – from food and energy production to the role it plays in conservation.

So, we’re delighted to announce that we’ll be helping spread the word about farming at this year’s Staffordshire County Show! Taking place on Wednesday 27th & Thursday 28th May, the event is a real ‘red letter day’ in the farming calendar; with Staffordshire farmers showcasing their very best livestock and produce, lots of exciting competitions and displays to watch and hundreds of trade stands to browse.

You’ll find us running the ‘Children’s Farm’ at the show, with friendly animals to meet, the chance to ‘dig your own’ potatoes and take home seeds to plant in your garden – alongside some exciting surprises! Farmer Richard and Farmer Ray will be on hand to share their wealth of farming knowledge and answer any questions, while the NFU’s fun yet educational ‘Discovery Barn’ will be on hand for families to explore. As well as helping get the next generation inspired by farming and the countryside, we’ll be telling you all about our exciting new playbarn and farm attraction.
